Exciting Developments Near the Turnpike in Minneola

Minneola is buzzing with activity as two major projects take shape near the Turnpike. AdventHealth Minneola Campus recently celebrated a significant construction milestone with a topping-out ceremony, marking the completion of the building’s full height. This four-story hospital, located on Hancock Road near Florida’s Turnpike at the Minneola interchange, represents a major investment in the community’s health and well-being.

Upon completion, the 80-bed, full-service facility will feature 24 emergency room bays and is expected to bring 500 clinical and nonclinical positions to the area. 

Meanwhile, the much-anticipated Crooked Can project is also underway. While delays have slowed its progress, a representative has indicated that its opening may take a bit longer than originally projected.

Crooked Can Brewery, a $17 million venture, is set to become a major destination for craft beer enthusiasts and locals alike. The new 40,000-square-foot facility will serve as the brewery’s headquarters and will include a range of attractions that are sure to draw crowds.

The plans for Crooked Can Brewery include live entertainment, an outdoor beer garden, and a food hall, all designed to create a vibrant community space.

New Marriott TownePlace Suites Coming to South Lake

Exciting news for South Lake residents and visitors: a new Marriott TownePlace Suites is under construction on a 4.07-acre site located approximately ¾ mile east of U.S. 27 at the intersection of Omar Street and Highway 50.
