By Grace Rabano, Publicity Lead for Clermont Garden Club
Fun-With-Flowers is a workshop hosted by the Clermont Garden Club that provides a fun environment for club and community members to learn a new gardening/horticultural skill or to create floral crafts/arrangements. This month, the Clermont Garden Club’s Fun-With-Flowers workshop was a ‘get your hands dirty’ activity to create a Kokedama using an anthurium plant with a red bloom. Kokedama means “moss ball” in Japanese, and is a unique and trendy way to display a plant. Each participant made their own Kokedama, proudly displayed it (see photo attached), then took their lovely creations home.
Attending the workshops is by reservation only. All supplies and instructions are provided (with a fee). Upcoming events can be found at https://clermontgardenclub.org/2023-2024-fun-with-flower-workshops-2/. Come and join us at the next upcoming Fun-With-Flowers workshops:
