Fun-With-Flowers is a workshop hosted by the Clermont Garden Club that provides a fun environment for club and community members to learn a new gardening/horticultural skill or to create floral crafts/arrangements. This month, the Clermont Garden Club’s Fun-With-Flowers workshop was a ‘get your hands dirty’ activity to create a Kokedama using an anthurium plant with a red bloom. Kokedama means “moss ball” in Japanese, and is a unique and trendy way to display a plant. Each participant made their own Kokedama, proudly displayed it (see photo attached), then took their lovely creations home.

– At the February 22, 2025 workshop, attendees will create a Preserved Moss Wall Art by following a unique pattern to create a beautiful 12″x12″ frame that can be hung or displayed on an easel. The cost is $32.10 (tax included). RSVP by Feb 10.
– At the April 5, 2025 workshop, attendees will make a fresh floral arrangement for Spring! Cost is $42.80 (tax included). RSVP by March 24.
The Clermont Garden Club is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Members meet monthly (September through May) at the clubhouse located at 849 West Avenue, Clermont, FL. We warmly welcome guests to attend our meetings on the third Wednesday of the month at 9:30 a.m. The clubhouse is also available for rentals for church gatherings, scout meetings, showers, birthday parties, etc. See www.clermontgardenclub.org.
