This past Saturday, players and coaches from the South Lake High School Football Team demonstrated their commitment to the community by volunteering in the Keep Lake Beautiful event, held in downtown Groveland and Mascotte.
The team spent the morning picking up debris and trash throughout the downtown areas, working alongside dedicated volunteers to help beautify the local community. Their efforts not only contributed to a cleaner environment but also showcased the importance of teamwork and civic responsibility beyond the football field.
SLHS Football Coach Bradley Lord extended a special thank you to Groveland Mayor Keogh and the Keep Lake Beautiful Volunteers for including the SLHS Eagles in this impactful event and providing them with the opportunity to give back.
Soar, Eagles, Soar!
