It is with mixed emotions that Montverde Academy announces the departure of our esteemed Boys Varsity Basketball Head Coach and Director of the Center for Basketball Development, Kevin Boyle. Coach Boyle has accepted an incredible opportunity that will further his illustrious career in basketball.
Since joining Montverde Academy in 2011, Coach Boyle has been instrumental in elevating our boys basketball program to national prominence. Under his leadership, the Eagles secured seven national championships in ten years, a testament to his exceptional coaching and dedication. His tenure has been marked by the development of numerous players who have advanced to collegiate and professional levels, reflecting his commitment to nurturing talent both on and off the court.
Beyond the accolades and championships, Coach Boyle’s impact on our community has been profound. instilling values of discipline, teamwork, and perseverance in our student-athletes. His passion for the game and unwavering dedication have left an indelible mark on Montverde Academy.
As Coach Boyle embarks on this new chapter, we extend our deepest gratitude for his many years of service and the legacy he leaves behind. We also wish his family continued success and happiness during this transition.
Montverde Academy remains steadfast in our commitment to excellence in boys basketball and player development. In light of Coach Boyle’s departure, we will conduct a comprehensive national search to identify the next Head Coach and a dedicated Director of the Center for Basketball Development (CBD). Our goal is to find talented leaders who will uphold our tradition of athletic excellence and continue to foster the growth of our student-athletes as mentors, educators, and role models.
