Clermont Police Chief Broadway

The search for Kissimmee’s next Chief of Police has entered its final stages, with retired Orlando Police Chief Orlando Rolón and current Clermont Police Chief Charles “Chuck” Broadway advancing to the final round of interviews. The decision on who will take the helm of the Kissimmee Police Department (KPD) now rests with City Manager Mike Steigerwald, who will announce the new chief in the coming weeks.

Following the resignation of Chief Betty Holland in October 2024, Interim Chief Anzueto took over the role as Chief and has worked in the department until the appointment of a permanent Chief is announced. He will return to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office in March.

The South Lake Tablet acknowledges the outstanding leadership and dedication of Chief Charles Broadway. His commitment to integrity, professionalism, and service has left a lasting impact that will be remembered for years to come.
