The search for Kissimmee’s next Chief of Police has entered its final stages, with retired Orlando Police Chief Orlando Rolón and current Clermont Police Chief Charles “Chuck” Broadway advancing to the final round of interviews. The decision on who will take the helm of the Kissimmee Police Department (KPD) now rests with City Manager Mike Steigerwald, who will announce the new chief in the coming weeks.
Following the resignation of Chief Betty Holland in October 2024, Interim Chief Anzueto took over the role as Chief and has worked in the department until the appointment of a permanent Chief is announced. He will return to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office in March.

Throughout his years as Police Chief, Broadway has not only served as a steadfast protector of the City of Clermont but has also been a driving force behind the advancements that have strengthened our community.
