Another Successful Year For Pig On The Pond
Pig On the Pond has been a South Lake tradition for 26 years, drawing large crowds of families, friends, and visitors together for a weekend filled with thrilling carnival rides, incredible live entertainment, spectacular fireworks, and, of course, mouthwatering barbecue.
Another unforgettable year of fun, food, and community spirit has come to a close as Pig on the Pond 2025 wrapped up at Clermont’s Waterfront Park.
Pig on the Pond is more than just a festival—it is the signature event of Project Scholars, serving as the primary fundraiser for its scholarship program. Each year, Project Scholars awards four $10,000 scholarships to students living in South Lake County, helping to support the next generation of leaders and innovators. In addition to Project Scholars’ efforts, many local businesses and nonprofit organizations participate in the festival as a way to raise funds for educational initiatives, making this event a true community-driven success.
This year’s festival did not disappoint! The South Lake community came out in full force to enjoy the festivities. Vendors, entertainers, volunteers, and BBQ competitors brought their best, making this year’s Pig on the Pond a total success.
The Pig on the Pond Committee shared their heartfelt appreciation for everyone who contributed to the event: “To our vendors, entertainers, volunteers, BBQ competitors, and our amazing community partners—you brought the energy, flavor, and heart that makes Pig on the Pond so special. And to the South Lake community—thank you for continuing to support education, fun, and family memories year after year. We do it all for you. Until next year!”
As the festival closes another chapter, the excitement for Pig on the Pond 2026 is already starting to swirl.
