Lake County invites residents to participate in a public engagement session to receive an update on the Safe Streets for All (SS4A) initiative.

Location: Tavares Civic Center, 100 E. Caroline Street, Tavares, FL 32778
Date: Thursday, April 3, 2025
Time: 6 pm – 7:30 pm

SS4A aims to improve roadway safety for all users — drivers, cyclists, pedestrians, and runners — by working toward the goal of zero traffic fatalities and serious injuries. As part of SS4A, Lake County is aligning with the U.S. Department of Transportation’s National Roadway Safety Strategy to make local streets safer for everyone.

This meeting will provide the public with key insights from the safety analysis conducted as part of the SS4A Safety Action Plan. Lake County invites all community members to attend and learn more about the County’s efforts to create safer roads.

Public participation is solicited without regard to race, color, national origin, age, sex, religion, disability, or family status. Persons wishing to express their concerns relative to compliance with Title VI or persons with disabilities who require accommodations under the Americans with Disabilities Act or require translation services (free of charge) should contact Sharon Lewis, Lake County Title VI Coordinator, at 352-742-2612 (TTD: 800-955-8771) or email at selewis@lakecountyfl.gov.
