Residents will have the opportunity to enjoy a relaxed morning with local law enforcement at the upcoming “Coffee with a Cop” event. The Clermont Police Department will be at Flag Coffee Corner, located at 896 W Minneola Ave., on Wednesday, April 16, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.

This community-centered event offers residents a chance to engage in casual conversation with Clermont police officers over a cup of coffee. The goal is to foster positive relationships, strengthen community ties, and provide an open forum for discussions about local issues, safety concerns, and policing efforts.

“Coffee with a Cop” is designed to break down barriers between law enforcement and the public by creating a comfortable, informal setting for interactions. Attendees are encouraged to ask questions, share concerns, or simply get to know the officers who serve their community.

Whether you’re a longtime resident or new to the area, this is a great opportunity to connect with your local police force and enjoy a friendly chat. No formal agenda or speeches—just coffee and conversation.

Mark your calendar for Wednesday, April 16, and stop by Flag Coffee Corner between 9 am  and 11 am to meet your local officers.
