Members of the Clermont Woman’s Club recently collected their boarding passes and attended the District 7 FLIGHT TO HONOR fund raiser held in Orlando.  It was a “Fly In” Festival of Fashions to support our Florida State President’s project. GFWC Florida State President, Sara Dessureau,  hopes to raise enough funds to be able to take a flight of female veterans to Washington, D.C. to visit the memorials and tour D.C.  The goal is to raise $150,000.00 to cover the costs for the flight and attendees.

The Clermont Woman’s Club was chartered in 1927.  It is a non-profit organization that meets on the first Tuesday of each month (September through May) at 12:30 pm at their clubhouse, 655 W. Broome Street, Clermont.  For information, see http://www.clermontwomansclub.org.
