On Saturday, April 19th, Lake County residents will take part in a nationwide day of action to deliver a powerful message to Donald Trump and Elon Musk: “Hands Off!” Demonstrators will gather at nine locations across the county to protest attacks on vital programs and freedoms that middle-class and working families rely on.
This mobilization follows the largest single day of protest since Trump was sworn in for a second term, and comes as Trump and congressional Republicans intensify efforts to gut essential services. Participants are demanding that Trump and Musk keep their hands off our healthcare, Social Security, civil rights, freedom, and education.
A total of 450+ people are expected at multiple locations across Lake County, including Clermont, Eustis, Four Corners, Groveland, Leesburg, Minneola, Montverde, Mount Dora, and Tavares
