Central Florida Dreamplex has released a new video spotlighting the Dreamplex Stars Cheerleading Team, offering an inspiring glimpse into the lives of athletes with disabilities and special needs who are breaking barriers and building community through sport.
The video, now available to view at https://youtu.be/wNlTuYMq2zQ, follows the team as they train, perform, and share what the cheerleading program means to them and their families. Through interviews and footage captured during practices and performances, the piece highlights how the Dreamplex Stars have become a powerful representation of resilience, inclusion, and shared determination.
“These athletes don’t just cheer,” said Cameron Gomes, CEO of Central Florida Dreamplex. “They lift up everyone around them. The Stars represent what’s possible when a community creates space for every person to thrive.”
The video was produced in collaboration with ForeThought Films LLC. Central Florida Dreamplex extended its gratitude to Seth Fader, President and Executive Producer, and Paul Berner for donating their time and expertise to this project.
“ForeThought didn’t just document our work—they helped bring the heart of our mission to life,” added Gomes. “Their contribution ensured this story would be told with the care and dignity it deserves.”
While the cheerleading program is a standout example, it is just one of many initiatives supported by Central Florida Dreamplex. The organization offers a range of therapeutic, recreational, vocational, and social programs designed specifically for individuals with disabilities and special needs.
