Members of the Clermont Woman’s Club recently attended their Spring District 7 Meeting hosted by the Pine Castle Woman’s Club in Orlando. The focus was on membership with special guest speaker, Candi Aubin, GFWC-FL 2nd VP. With membership being the focus, topics such as recruiting, retention, and recognizing members were discussed. The Pine Castle Woman’s Club provided a delicious breakfast and lunch. Our members always enjoy visiting other GFWC clubs in our district, it gives us an opportunity to say hello to fellow GFWC sisters in District 7!
The Clermont Woman’s Club was chartered in 1927. It is a non-profit, service organization that meets on the first Tuesday of each month (September through May) at 12:30pm at their clubhouse, 655 W. Broome Street, Clermont. For information see www.clermontwomansclub.org
