Downtown Clermont has a new spot for food lovers. Huarique Peruvian Restaurant, now open at 658 West Avenue in the former Los Reyes Mexican Restaurant, opened on Sunday, August 31, inviting the community to explore the bold flavors, vibrant colors, and rich traditions of Peruvian cuisine.

Huarique diners can dive into Peru’s classics and zesty ceviche as well as house-made pastas with a Peruvian flair.

Appetizers range from wagyu sliders and empanadas to flavorful acevichada wings and sushi rolls.  Seafood lovers will find plenty to savor with dishes such as scallops chalaca and tuna tataki, while entrées include an impressive selection like rack of lamb, jalea, and Peruvian ramen.
