Tucked away in the heart of downtown Clermont, Back 40 Wine Co. has become the city’s newest neighborhood gem. With its intimate atmosphere and European flair, this cozy wine bar invites guests to unwind, relax, and savor a glass (or two) in style.
Owners Wesley and Karen Hime have created a space that feels both romantic and welcoming—perfect for date nights, friendly gatherings, or simply an evening escape. Located at 719 West Ave, Clermont, FL 34711, the bar offers indoor seating as well as charming patio options for those who prefer an al fresco experience.
The menu is thoughtfully curated, featuring shareable bites such as charcuterie boards, fruit and cheese pairings, smoked seafood dip, honey-baked brie, whipped feta, and even caviar. Guests will also find handhelds, decadent desserts, and a selection of coffee, tea, beer, and of course, wine to complement every mood. Our server, Elly Hine, guided us through the menu and helped us select a wonderful assortment of food, wine, and beer that highlighted the bar’s offerings.
