On Saturday, October 18, 2025, Lake County Indivisibles will host a local event in conjunction with the nationwide “No Kings” day of action. The peaceful rally will take place at Clermont City Hall, 685 W. Montrose Street, beginning at 11:00 am.
The Clermont gathering is one of thousands of coordinated events across the country focused on promoting civic engagement and the protection of democratic rights. Organizers anticipate more than 400 participants at the local rally.
Speakers will include Dan Williams and Barbie Harden Hall, Democratic candidates running in the primary election for Florida’s 11th Congressional District seat currently held by Congressman Daniel Webster.
Following brief remarks, participants will join in singing “Put a Little Love in Your Heart” before marching to State Road 50 for a sign-waving demonstration near Center Lake Park, between West Avenue and 8th Street.
The No Kings – Clermont event is scheduled from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. and is open to the public. Local organizers encourage community members to attend and learn more about civic participation and the national campaign’s goals.
