Nichole Smith, Montverde Academy
Montverde Academy recently celebrated the induction of 29 Middle School students from grades 7 and 8 into the National Junior Honor Society (NJHS). The ceremony recognized students who have exemplified excellence in the organization’s five pillars: scholarship, service, leadership, citizenship, and character.
The NJHS is one of the nation’s most prestigious organizations for middle school students, honoring young scholars who excel academically and demonstrate a commitment to serving their school and community. Membership offers opportunities to further develop leadership skills and encourages students to make a positive impact on those around them.
Students were inducted based on their academic achievements and their potential to continue fostering these values. Each inductee represents Montverde Academy’s dedication to developing well-rounded leaders who strive for excellence both inside and outside the classroom.
This fall’s induction marks an important milestone for the students as they embark on their NJHS journey. Through this honor, they join a tradition of service, scholarship, and leadership that will continue to guide them in their academic journeys and beyond.
