LEGO Club – Wednesday, November 5 | 4 – 5 P.M.

Come make new friends and build cool stuff!  Participate in new challenges, try different techniques, see what your imagination can come up with.  Bricks are provided.

Family Movie Day – Saturday, November 8 | 10 A.M. – 12 P.M.

Gather the whole family to enjoy a popular family-friendly movie together.

Club Maker- Wednesday, November 12 | 4 – 5 P.M.

This monthly club is aimed at sparking creativity and teaching cool crafting skills. Each meeting will have a guided craft activity, with all materials provided. 

Cooper Gaming Club – Wednesday, November 19 | 4 – 5 P.M.

Love playing Pokémon?  Wild for Yu-gi-oh?  Love to play Magic: The Gathering?  Having a hard time finding other friends to play with?  Bring your cards, games, Nintendo Switches, or whatever gaming set up you prefer and meet up with other gamers to find a buddy to play with!

The library has very limited items to share so bring your own materials when possible.

STEM Club – Wednesday, November 26 | 4 – 5 P.M.

Join us monthly for a craft or activity themed to the principles of Science, Technology, Engineering and Math.  All materials provided.

Baby & Me Storytime –Every Monday | 11 – 11:30 A.M.

Join us in our Story Room for a weekly, baby-friendly storytime.  Bond with your baby through books, bouncy rhymes, and songs in this lapsit program that introduces early literacy skills, and encourages language development!

Toddler Story Time – Every Tuesday & Thursday | 11 – 11:30 A.M.

Join us in our Story Room for a weekly themed storytime full of music, movement, and fun! Stick around after for our sensory play time and explore new skills with our fun sensory stations.

This program is for children ages 2-4, but learners of all ages and ability levels are welcome to attend! 

Weekly Kids Crafts & Coloring Sheets – Every Tuesday and Wednesday | 12 – 7 P.M.

Drop in anytime to pick up a special to-go craft kit, or fresh coloring sheets!

Young Adult Creative Writing Club – Every Tuesday | 5:30 – 6:30 P.M.

Young writers unite in the CML YA Creative Writing Club!  With writing-based games, activities, and lessons, sanctioned free-write time, and the option for peer-review, there’s something for young adult writers of all kinds.

One Page Rules: Grimdark Future

Saturday, November 1 | 9:30 A.M. – 12:30 P.M.

Sci-fi tabletop wargaming comes to Cooper Memorial Library! – Bring your Grimdark Future army and try to claim supremacy of the planet Velostra VI and its mysteries in this narrative campaign. Most games will be at 2,000 points.

Clermont Ukuleles – Tuesday, November 4 | 3 – 5 P.M.

Bring your ukulele and join us for intermediate to advanced group play! The Ukulele Club meets every first Tuesday afternoon from 3 pm to 5 pm. Chords and lyrics will be projected on a large TV monitor for easy following, and we have a diverse selection of music from all years and genres.  Registration is not required.

Stressless Holiday Entertaining with Chef Warren

Monday, November 10 | 10 – 11 A.M.

Chef Warren gives tips on how to enjoy the holidays without spending all of your time in the kitchen by sharing great ideas on almost unlimited appetizers and a main course that can be made in under 30 minutes.

Cooper Book Club – Tuesday, November 18 | 5:30 – 7 P.M.

The Cooper Book Club takes place on the third Tuesday of each month.

This month we will be discussing James by Percival Everett.

James is a retelling of The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn from the perspective of the enslaved Jim. He escapes after learning he will be sold away from his wife and daughter, and his journey down the Mississippi River with Huck Finn is fraught with peril and complex themes of identity, freedom, and violence.

Cooper Quilters Group – Every Tuesday | 9 A.M. – 2 P.M.

Calling all quilters!  Bring your current project and quilt with us. The Cooper Quilters Group meets every Tuesday. Registration not required.

Cooper Mahjong & Board Game Day –Every Thursday | 11 A.M. – 1 P.M.

Step back in time and join us for Game Day at the library!  Dust off your favorite classics and challenge friends to a game of chess, dominoes, American mahjong, and so much more.  Whether you’re a seasoned strategist or a first-time player, it’s the perfect chance to unplug, unwind, and rediscover the joy of old-school fun.

Cooper Crafter’s Group – Every Thursday | 2 – 5 P.M.

Bring your current project (be it yarn, thread, bead, fiber or paper) and craft with us! The Crafter’s Group meets every Thursday from 2 PM to 5 PM. Registration not required.
