Nearly 200 photos were entered in the 2026 Adopt-a-Lake photo contest. A committee narrowed the images down to 34 semifinalists. More than 2,600 votes were cast to select the top 14 photographs to feature in the 2026 calendar. The runner-up photos are included in a special section at the back of the calendar. The top-scoring picture, of Lake Norris and submitted by Hong Xiao, is featured on the calendar’s front cover.
