The holiday season will officially begin in Mascotte as the community gathers for the Tree Lighting and Hometown Holiday Celebration on Thursday, December 4, at the Mascotte Civic Center located at 121 N. Sunset Ave., Mascotte.
This cherished annual event brings together families, neighbors, and visitors for an evening filled with festive joy. Attendees can enjoy browsing a variety of local crafter and food vendors, offering handmade gifts, seasonal treats, and warm refreshments perfect for the holiday mood.
Adding to the spirit of the season, the Groveland High School Jazz Band, the Screaming Eagles, will take the stage, filling the air with their favorite holiday tunes and bringing a lively musical energy to the event.
The highlight of the evening will be the arrival of Santa Claus at 6:00 pm, when he will help light the city’s holiday tree and greet all the good boys and girls eager to share their Christmas wishes.
Beloved by locals, this tradition continues to be a fun, friendly, and family-focused celebration—the perfect way to kick off the holiday season in Mascotte. Everyone is invited to attend and share in the magic of the holidays!
