Mark your calendars as Lake Community Arts presents their inaugural winter concert; A Wondrous Revelation. Directed by Chad McClellan, this inspiring evening of music will feature the 100+ voice Lake Community Choir, Lake Minneola High School Treble Choir, and more. This concert weaves together timeless Christmas carols, moving choral works, and festive holiday favorites that will help everyone celebrate the spirit of the season with your family and friends.

Co-Founder and Choir Director, Chad McClellan notes, “Lake Community Arts is incredibly excited to present our inaugural winter concert A Wondrous Revelation for our community. Please join us as Lake Community Choir takes the stage for the very first time, performing some of your holiday favorites and some new tunes that you will adore. We hope this lovely evening of Christmas, Hanukkah, and winter favorites becomes a holiday tradition for you and your family.” Some of the festive songs will be, Do You Hear What I Hear, Sleigh Ride, Somewhere in My Memory, And the Glory of the Lord, This Christmastide, and I Saw Three Ships for an evening of Christmas, Hanukkah, and winter favorites that will become a holiday concert tradition for you and your family to enjoy for years to come.”

LCA Board President Leiland Theriot notes, “At Lake Community Arts, our mission is to unite, inspire, and transform our community through inclusive visual and performing arts. Although we established our nonprofit only last year, we have already formed the Lake Community Choir—now over 140 voices strong.”

Through a meaningful partnership with Lake County Schools, we were proud to be instrumental in giving local 5th graders the opportunity to attend the Orlando Philharmonic’s Young People’s Concert for the very first time.

We look forward to expanding our reach by creating more opportunities in music, theatre, dance, and visual arts—engaging individuals of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds, and strengthening our community through the power of the arts.

Chad McClellan is a lifelong musician, conductor, and non-profit leader with more than 20 years of experience in building arts programs that bring people together. His vision for Lake Community Arts originally began 15 years ago when he realized the need for a choir in the community. From there, the desire grew to create spaces where everyone, regardless of age, background, or experience where everyone can find community unity through the arts.

Lake Community Choir is open to all singers ages 14 and up with no experience required. This non-auditioned ensemble brings together voices from across Lake County and beyond to perform a wide variety of choral music in a supportive and inclusive environment. Whether you’re an experienced singer or someone who simply loves to sing, the Lake Community Choir offers an opportunity to connect, make music, and be part of something joyful and meaningful. Rehearsals focus on skill-building, community, and artistic excellence, culminating in public performances that celebrate the power of music to bring people together.

LCA’s performances will include public concerts and special events to showcase local talent and foster a sense of belonging for both performers and audiences. Future LCA program expansion will include more opportunities for adult and youth choir singers, musicians, theatre performers, the visual arts, and music education. Support through donations and sponsorships will allow us to expand our offers, increasing our artistic impact in Lake County. There’s still time to join!

Registration opens soon for the 2026 spring concert. Above all, they will help celebrate the joy that music and the creative arts bring to life for our community. You can make a tax deductible gift at LakeCommunityArts.org/support
