The City of Clermont is inviting residents to meet their local heroes during a special Public Safety Training Center Open House on Thursday, January 22, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.  The free, family-friendly event will be held at the training center, located at 400 12th Street in Clermont.

The open house offers the community a behind-the-scenes look at how Clermont’s first responders train to keep the city safe. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet members of the Clermont Fire Department and Clermont Police Department, explore the facility, and enjoy a variety of interactive experiences.

Highlights of the evening include fire and police demonstrations, where visitors can see firefighting and law enforcement equipment in action. Guests can also take part in guided site tours, featuring technical rescue areas, connex box training props, and other specialized training spaces used by public safety personnel.

In addition to the demonstrations and tours, attendees can enjoy light bites provided by Mission BBQ.

City officials encourage residents of all ages to attend, learn more about local public safety operations, and show support for the men and women who serve the Clermont community.
