Montverde Academy’s Upper School Chinese Club hosted a vibrant Lunar New Year Talent Show, bringing together students, families, faculty, and staff for an evening of celebration and talent.
The audience enjoyed an incredible lineup of soloists, group songs, and dynamic dance performances showcasing the diverse talents within our MVA community.
“The Lunar New Year Talent Show was such a meaningful experience, bringing everyone together to celebrate culture, creativity, and community,” said senior Gina LI. “It was inspiring to see how much effort each performer put in, and I’m really happy that we could create something memorable and special for our school.”
“This is my third year participating in the Lunar New Year Talent Show, and it will also be my last year in high school, which makes this experience especially meaningful to me,” said senior Amy Zhang. “I am truly grateful that our school provides an opportunity like this—not only to celebrate and share Chinese traditional culture, but also to give students a platform to showcase their talents and creativity.

“Seeing more and more students get involved each year has been incredibly touching and exciting. The energy, the teamwork, and the cultural pride make it one of my favorite events every year. Being part of this tradition has created memories that I will always cherish, and I am so thankful to everyone who helped make it possible.”
Guests also joined in the fun with the “Lucky Draw Red Envelope” raffle, with exciting prizes announced throughout the night!
