Clermont Mayor Tim Murry spoke to the members of the Clermont Woman’s Club at their April meeting. It was an informal setting and the Mayor fielded multiple questions from the members. He spoke about the growth of Clermont and since he is a native of Clermont, he talked about the changes that he has seen over the years. The women thanked him for taking time out of his busy schedule to visit the club.
The Clermont Woman’s Club was chartered in 1927. It is a non-profit organization that meets on the first Tuesday of each month (September through May) at 12:30PM at their clubhouse, 655 W. Broome Street, Clermont. For information see http://www.clermontwomansclub.org.
