Recently members of the Clermont Woman’s Club attended the GFWC/Florida District 7 Meeting held in Leesburg. New District Officers were installed for 2026- 2028 and attendees were treated to a visit from the Leesburg Fire Department. Their visit was a kickoff for District 7 to participate in fundraising for the GFWC/FL President’s Program which is raising funds for scholarships and equipment for the Florida State Fire College.
The Clermont Woman’s Club is a Federated Woman’s Club chartered in 1927. It is a service organization and supports international, national and local charities. They meet the first Tuesday of each month (September through May) at their clubhouse at 655 W. Broome St., Clermont. For further information see http://www.clermontwomansclub.org.
