The Eagles are kicking off the football season this Friday with the school’s first annual season kickoff tailgate party, scheduled from 5 to 7 pm at 15600 Silver Eagle Rd. Groveland.
The event will lead into the preseason opener, where the District Championship football team will take on Viera.
Fans attending the tailgate can enjoy a variety of activities, including games, prizes, raffles, food and a spirit contest. Supporters are encouraged to show their school pride by wearing their best blue and silver Eagle gear.
Parking will be $5 cash, while game tickets will be $7 cash at the gate or $8 through GoFan.
The community is invited to come out, support South Lake High School and help create an exciting atmosphere as the Eagles begin their quest to defend their championship title.
