The City of Minneola will honor the victims, survivors, first responders, and all those affected by the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks during its annual 9/11 Remembrance – Honor and Remember ceremony.
The commemorative event will take place on Friday, September 11, at 10 am at the May Griffith Gazebo, located at the corner of Lake Minneola Drive and Silverton Street.
Community members are invited to gather in reflection and remembrance as the nation marks another anniversary of one of the most significant days in American history. The ceremony will provide an opportunity to pay tribute to the nearly 3,000 lives lost, recognize the heroism of first responders, and honor the resilience shown in the aftermath of the attacks.
Residents and visitors are encouraged to attend and join the City of Minneola in remembering those who made the ultimate sacrifice and reaffirming the spirit of unity that emerged in the wake of the tragedy.
