The Lake County Animal Shelter is joining communities across the country in celebrating “Dolly Parton Day” tomorrow, Friday, Sept. 25, with a special adoption promotion: adoption fees will be just $9.25 for all pets.
The promotion is a fun way to honor Dolly Parton’s legacy and love of animals while helping shelter pets find loving homes. Residents can meet available dogs and cats at the shelter from 1 to 6 pm Friday.
The Lake County Animal Shelter is located at 12280 County Road 448 in Tavares. Residents can also view all adoptable pets online at https://24petconnect.com/LakeCountyAdoptablePets.
“Dolly Day is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the joy pets bring to our lives while giving shelter animals a chance at a forever home,” said Animal Services Director Whitney Boylston.
