The Lake County Office of Transit Services invites residents to the 20th Annual Stuff the Bus Food Drive on Saturday, Oct. 24, from 9 am to 3 pm at the Loch Leven Publix, located at 18955 U.S. Highway 441, Mount Dora. During the food drive, residents can bring nonperishable donations to be placed inside a Lake County Connection bus.
The food donations collected will benefit The Lake Cares Food Pantry, a local non-profit organization. Over the past 20 years, Lake County Transit staff and volunteers have collected more than 74,000 pounds of food to support families throughout the community. This is a fun and meaningful experience for the whole family!
