Clermont Garden Club members enjoyed a field trip to The Giving Farm, located at 9100 Sams Lake Road in Clermont. Farmer Banks Helfrich guided club members through his 7-acre agricultural property that feature distinct gardens including a food forest, vineyard, pineapple patch, sugar cane rows, tea and shade gardens, etc. Club members learned sustainable gardening techniques and how to grow food. As avid gardeners, club members were thrilled to bring home plant cuttings to propagate in their own gardens.
Clermont Garden Club is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
Come to our Annual Plant Sale on Saturday, Oct 24th at our clubhouse at 849 West Ave., in historic downtown Clermont. The clubhouse is also available for rentals for meetings, birthday celebrations, showers, etc.
