The Lake County Clerk of the Circuit Court & Comptroller is again honoring U.S. military veterans and active-duty personnel by offering free passport photos during November.
“For eight years, we have been proud to offer complimentary passport photos to our veterans and military personnel during the month of November,” said Gary Cooney, Lake County Clerk of the Circuit Court & Comptroller. “The sacrifices made by those who serve our country deserve our deepest appreciation. Providing this service is just a small token of that appreciation.”
Since starting the veterans’ appreciation event in 2019, 464 veterans have been provided free photos. To be eligible for the free photo, military personnel can present their DD-214, military identification, or have a veteran designation on their driver’s license.
