The Lake County Animal Shelter will waive all pet adoption fees from Oct. 29 to Nov. 1 as part of its Howl-O-Ween adoption promotion, giving residents an opportunity to welcome a new pet into their homes.
The shelter encourages residents considering pet adoption to visit during the four-day event. Adoption counseling is available Thursday and Friday from 1 to 6 pm and Saturday and Sunday from 1 to 5 pm

“This promotion is a wonderful opportunity to connect more adoptable pets with loving families as the holiday season approaches,” said Whitney Boylston, Director of Lake County Animal Services. “So many pets are waiting for a place to call home, and we hope to see them surrounded by the love and comfort of their new families.”
Every Adoption Includes:
- Spay or neuter surgery
- Initial vaccinations
- Microchip and personalized identification tag
- A lifetime of love
The promotion runs from Oct. 29 through Nov. 1. Potential adopters are encouraged to visit the Lake County Animal Shelter, meet available pets, and find their new family member.
