Herut North America is proud to announce the launching of two new communities located in Central Florida. The communities will be located in Clermont and Ocala.
Herut North America is a non-profit 501c3 organization established to provide a home for people seeking a connection to the Jewish homeland; building communities based on the principles of Zionism, human dignity, and indigenous rights.
“After a personal journey of learning and of touching on advocacy in different places, it was inevitable that common sense dictated the path for me to support what I consider to be the founding organization of Israel – Herut, states Martin Beck, community leader for Herut Clermont. “Our main goal at Herut Clermont is to support Israel and the Jewish people; as well as welcoming and educating all those who support Israel’s right to exist. We encourage supporters from all backgrounds and walks of life to join us.”
“I am excited since this will be the first time Herut will have two communities so close to each other,“ said Miriam Fischer, Director of Communities for Herut North America. “I feel this area has a lot of support for Israel and the Jewish community, despite the national trend of increased antisemitism. I was honored to be at the rally for Israel this past Fall in Ocala and the number of people who came out that supported Israel was much more than I expected. Add to it, the majority of the supporters there were Christian, so I know we will grow and flourish in this area.”
Herut North America is devoted to securing the Jewish People’s inalienable right to live freely and securely in their ancestral homeland of Israel. Herut North America strives to unify the Jewish People as one family through Zionist education and activism.
