For nearly twenty years, Sally Guggino has been a compassionate presence in Lake County through her work with Paws for Therapy, a 501(c)(3) charitable organization that brings the healing power of pets to people in need.
Sally is a well-known volunteer throughout Lake County. Whether she’s in a hospital, nursing home, or with children, she makes it her mission to connect with everyone she meets.
Merlin, her third loyal therapy dog, has been Guggino’s partner in the journey for the last seven years. A rescue himself, Merlin has a special understanding of both companionship and resilience, which makes him a perfect therapy dog.
Guggino shows how much a caring heart and a devoted dog can do for a community. Sally and Merlin are more than a therapy team; they’re a beacon of kindness, loyalty, and joy.
