Pastfinders of South Lake County Genealogical Society can help guide you. This course is designed to point you in the right direction and highlight key elements to look for. Learn what prompted our ancestors to move to America. Their motivations can be a powerful catalyst in our quest to uncover more about them. Grasp the research process and master the necessary steps! The course features four research websites, real-time demonstrations, and an introduction to useful research software. Topics covered include the Reasons for Immigration, a Basic Ancestry Research Plan, Exploration of Research Websites, and an Overview of Research Software.
