The Federal Emergency Management Agency’s (FEMA) Disaster Recovery Center (DRC), located at the Lake County Agricultural Center (1951 Woodlea Rd. in Tavares), will permanently close at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 7.
Lake County residents seeking in-person assistance from FEMA related to Hurricanes Milton and Helene can visit the DRC from 9 a.m. until 7 p.m. on Monday and Tuesday, Jan. 6 and 7.
