Free Backpacks, Supplies, Haircuts, and More for Local Families
As the first day of school draws near, Florida Blue Centers are helping families get ready with two community-focused “Back to School” events on Saturday, August 2, from 10 am to 1 pm The events will take place at Florida Blue Center locations in Clermont and Winter Park, offering a variety of free services, giveaways, and family-friendly activities—open to everyone in the community.
The events aim to ease the burden of back-to-school preparation by providing free backpacks and school supplies (limit three per household, while supplies last), children’s haircuts by licensed barbers, and sports physicals (available at the Clermont location only, RSVP required).

No Florida Blue membership is required to participate, and the events are free and open to the public.

The Clermont event will feature additional services, including free sports physicals and haircuts, in collaboration with CAAIRE. Space is limited for physicals, and advance RSVPs are required through the Clermont Center.
