The Mascotte Police Department is gearing up to host its 4th Annual Back 2 School Bash Backpack Giveaway—a free, family-friendly event aimed at helping local students start the school year prepared and confident. The event will be held on Saturday, July 26, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at Mascotte Charter School, located at 460 Midway Avenue in Mascotte.
Backpacks filled with school supplies will be distributed to children while supplies last. Backpacks vary in size and color, and parents must be present with their children to receive a backpack.
In preparation for the event, the Mascotte Police Department is currently collecting school supplies and donations through July 24. Community members wishing to contribute can drop off items at any of the following Vocations:
