The South Lake Art League’s annual Fall Art Show painted downtown Clermont with creativity on Saturday, October 6! The event was a lively celebration of local talent, featuring an impressive mix of watercolor, mixed media, acrylic, and pastel works — each piece bursting with imagination and color.
The exhibit dazzled visitors with its variety and artistry, transforming the gallery into a kaleidoscope of textures and techniques. League President Lisa Harris kicked off the afternoon by introducing the show’s tireless chairperson, Kathy Henderson, whose enthusiasm and organization helped make the event a success. Kathy even treated guests to delightful refreshments, adding a touch of sweetness (and hospitality!) to the day.
And the Winners Are…
A highlight of the event was the juried competition, generously sponsored by Rose and Eric Stasuk, who provided beautiful ribbons and cash prizes for the winners.
First Place: Edma Muñoz Villafane
Second Place: Joe Diaz
Third Place: Harold Ruppert
The South Lake Art League extends heartfelt congratulations to the talented winners and sincere appreciation to all the artists who participated. A special thanks also goes to Rose and Eric Stasuk for their continued support of local art and artists.
As the autumn colors deepen outside, it’s clear that South Lake’s artistic spirit is every bit as vibrant inside the gallery!
