South Lake is stepping up its game—literally! Whether you’re swinging a club, sinking a putt, or chasing high scores on the arcade floor, there’s a new wave of recreation rolling into town. From Game On’s all-ages fun zone in downtown Clermont to One Degree’s high-tech golf experience and Minneola Mini Golf’s family-friendly greens, it’s officially tee time for fun across South Lake!
Game On, opening soon in the former Ax-Caliber location at 524 West Avenue in downtown Clermont (near the Clermont Historic Village), will offer fun and entertainment for all ages. The new venue will feature golf simulators, arcade games, and putt-putt, along with spaces for kids’ parties, office gatherings, and special events. Guests can also enjoy food and a full bar. One Degree, located at 12629 US-27, is an innovative indoor golf facility designed for players of every level—from beginners to seasoned golfers looking to refine their skills. The venue will feature six TrackMan simulator bays, a 1,200+ sq. ft. short-game turf green, and a 40-foot TGL-style jumbo simulator for a truly immersive golf experience.
In addition to open play, One Degree will offer competitive golf leagues, youth programs, and PGA-certified private coaching. The facility is tentatively scheduled to open in November.
Minneola Mini Golf, located at 650 N. Highway 27 in Minneola, will celebrate its grand opening on Friday, October 17, from 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm. The new attraction invites families and friends to enjoy an evening of mini golf fun in South Lake.
