This monthly club is aimed at sparking creativity and teaching cool crafting skills. Each meeting will have a guided craft activity, with all materials provided. 

Family Movie Day

Gather the whole family to enjoy a popular family-friendly movie together.

Santa Visits the Library!

Tuesday, December 16 | 11 A.M. – 12 P.M.

Join us at Cooper Memorial Library for a special holiday event featuring Santa Claus. Santa will be reading holiday stories and posing for festive photos!

Cooper Gaming Club

Wednesday, December 17 | 4 – 5 P.M.

Love playing Pokémon?  Wild for Yu-gi-oh?  Love to play Magic: The Gathering?  Having a hard time finding other friends to play with?  Bring your cards, games, Nintendo Switches, or whatever gaming set up you prefer and meet up with other gamers to find a buddy to play with!

The library has very limited items to share so bring your own materials when possible.

Baby & Me Storytime

Every Monday | 11 – 11:30 A.M.

Join us in our Story Room for a weekly, baby-friendly storytime.  Bond with your baby through books, bouncy rhymes, and songs in this lapsit program that introduces early literacy skills and encourages language development!

Toddler Story Time

Every Tuesday & Thursday | 11 – 11:30 A.M.

Join us in our Story Room for a weekly themed storytime full of music, movement, and fun! Stick around after for our sensory play time and explore new skills with our fun sensory stations.

This program is for children ages 2-4, but learners of all ages and ability levels are welcome to attend! 

Weekly Kids Crafts & Coloring Sheets

Every Tuesday and Wednesday | 12 – 7 P.M.

Drop in anytime to pick up a special to-go craft kit or fresh coloring sheets!

Young Adult Creative Writing Club

Every Tuesday | 5:30 – 6:30 P.M.

Young writers unite in the CML YA Creative Writing Club!  With writing-based games, activities, and lessons, sanctioned free-write time, and the option for peer-review, there’s something for young adult writers of all kinds.

One Page Rules: Grimdark Future

Saturday, December 6 | 9:30 A.M. – 12:30 P.M.

Sci-fi tabletop wargaming comes to Cooper Memorial Library!

Bring your Grimdark Future army and try to claim supremacy of the planet Velostra VI and its mysteries in this narrative campaign. Most games will be at 2,000 points.

Clermont Ukuleles

Tuesday, December 9 | 3 – 5 P.M.

It’s a Holiday Strum & Sing-Along!  Bring your ukulele and join us for intermediate to advanced group play. The Ukulele Club meets every first Tuesday afternoon from 3 pm to 5 pm. Chords and lyrics will be projected on a large TV monitor for easy following, and we have a diverse selection of music from all years and genres.  Registration is not required.

The Cooper Book Club takes place on the third Tuesday of each month.

Cooper Quilters Group

Every Tuesday | 9 A.M. – 2 P.M.

Calling all quilters!  Bring your current project and quilt with us. The Cooper Quilters Group meets every Tuesday. Registration not required.

Cooper Mahjong & Board Game Day

Every Thursday | 11 A.M. – 1 P.M.

Step back in time and join us for Game Day at the library!  Dust off your favorite classics and challenge friends to a game of chess, dominoes, American mahjong, and so much more.  Whether you’re a seasoned strategist or a first-time player, it’s the perfect chance to unplug, unwind, and rediscover the joy of old-school fun.

Cooper Crafter’s Group

Every Thursday | 2 – 5 P.M.

Bring your current project (be it yarn, thread, bead, fiber or paper) and craft with us! The Crafter’s Group meets every Thursday from 2 PM to 5 PM. Registration not required.
