A major milestone in Minneola’s growth is underway as Camp Lake Commerce Center, a joint venture partnership, launches plans for a three-phase, 1.4 million-square-foot industrial park—the first project of its kind in the city. Strategically positioned with direct access to the Florida Turnpike and U.S. Highway 27, the development is set to become a key hub for statewide distribution.

FRP Development Corp., in partnership with Strategic Real Estate Partners, LLC, has officially broken ground on Phase I of the project. This initial phase will feature two state-of-the-art industrial buildings totaling 377,892 square feet.

Spanning approximately 163 acres, Camp Lake Commerce Center will ultimately encompass three phases and deliver nearly 1.4 million square feet of modern industrial space. At full buildout, the site will accommodate 996 parking spaces and 193 trailer spaces, with buildings designed to support today’s logistics demands, including 32-foot clear heights.

As the first logistics-focused development in Minneola, Phase I sets a high standard with two contemporary facilities offering 296 parking spaces, 85 trailer spaces, 60-foot speed bays, dock-high and drive-in loading, and build-to-suit office space. The project is designed to provide efficient, high-quality logistics space in a prime Central Florida location.

The development comes at a pivotal time for Lake County, which is projected to welcome 200,000 new residents by 2030. Camp Lake Commerce Center is strategically located adjacent to the new $281 million AdventHealth hospital campus, further enhancing its appeal for businesses seeking proximity to growing infrastructure and workforce.

Minneola’s development momentum continues with projects like Hills City Center, a visionary 96-acre mixed-use destination that will feature residences, retail, senior housing, medical offices, and new event space from Crooked Can Brewery—all contributing to a more vibrant and connected community.
