Exciting news is on the horizon for Clermont as The Venue, a brand-new special events space, prepares to open at the location formerly known as Grace O’Malley’s Irish Pub. Situated at 2400 South U.S. Highway 27, this elegant catering and event facility is the latest venture by local restaurateur and master chef Uday Kadam.
Kadam, owner of Guru Indian Restaurant—located just across the courtyard from The Venue—has built a strong reputation in Central Florida for excellence in cuisine and hospitality. Since opening in 2014, Guru Indian Restaurant has earned numerous accolades, including recognition among the “Top 10% of Restaurants Worldwide,” based on international reviews, reader polls, and community votes. The restaurant has also received Tripadvisor’s Certificate of Excellence multiple times.
Uday’s journey to success is as inspiring as his culinary achievements. Born in the small village of MethiMelkunda, India, he has worked tirelessly to build his American dream. His recently published autobiography, “Lone Lion: An Independent Entrepreneur’s Tale of Adventure and Adversity,” shares his remarkable story and has already become a bestseller.
Guru Indian Restaurant remains a proud, family-owned establishment, known for its authentic recipes and warm, welcoming atmosphere. Unlike chain restaurants, Guru offers a truly personal dining experience that has made it a favorite gathering spot for locals.
With The Venue, Kadam is taking hospitality to the next level—transforming a dining destination into a premier space for catered events, celebrations, and special occasions.
More details about the grand opening will be announced soon, but anticipation is already building for what promises to be one of Clermont’s most exciting new event destinations.
