Central Florida Encouraged to Donate “Something Old” to Support Workforce Development

As wedding costs continue to rise, Goodwill Industries of Central Florida is helping couples celebrate their big day without breaking the bank. The nonprofit will host its two-day “Something Blue” Bridal Showcase at its Clermont location, offering affordable wedding attire and accessories while supporting job training and employment programs across Central Florida.

Brides-to-be, grooms, and members of the wedding party are invited to shop a wide selection of wedding gowns — many priced under $100 — along with tuxedos, suits, shoes, and accessories during the special event on May 30 and 31.

In addition to shopping, Goodwill is encouraging Central Floridians to donate their “something old” wedding items so other couples can give them new life and create lasting memories of their own.

Every donation and purchase made at Goodwill helps fund the organization’s hands-on job training and employment assistance programs, which provide opportunities for individuals seeking meaningful employment and greater economic independence.
