Club member, Jacki Josten, set up the pink tree recently at Clermont Oncology. This project was started by General Federation of Woman’s Clubs District 7 in 2015. The earrings placed on the tree are given to the women who are going through breast cancer treatment to remind them that they are strong and beautiful.
The Clermont Woman’s Club is a Federated Woman’s Club chartered in 1927. It is a non-profit service organization and by fundraising throughout the year, they can support international, national, and local charities. They meet on the first Tuesday of each month (September through May) at their clubhouse at 655 W. Broome Street and 7th Street, Clermont. For more information see www.clermontwomansclub.org.
