Joanne Apel, long-time member of the Clermont Woman’s Club & a former president, is shown above giving a check for $250.00 from the Woman’s Club to Jim Briggs, president of the South Lake County Historical Society. The Woman’s Club has a long history of supporting area non-profits. Their generosity is greatly appreciated by many organizations, especially the Historical Society.
