Read to the Dogs (every first Tuesday of the month)
All ages are invited to join the PAWS Therapy Dogs every first Tuesday of the month from 4-5 p.m. Drop in anytime during that hour, our next dates are Tuesdays, March 5, April 2 and May 7. PAWS Therapy Dogs provide compassionate canine community service work by visiting libraries, schools, senior centers, and nursing homes.

Children, teens, and adults can hang out, pet and read a book with these trained therapy pups. Kids’ reading skills can be strengthened and reading confidence increased during this fun literacy time with these wonderful dogs and their handlers. If your child in not reading yet, no worries, they can still have fun.

Knitting Class for Beginners (first and third Thursdays)
Adults and teens are invited to the Minneola Schoolhouse Library for an ongoing “Knitting Class for Beginners” on, Tuesday, February 21 from 4-5:30 pm. Bring your own materials and creative ideas, and learn to knit from a pro. The first get together will be basic discussion and instruction of what supplies will be needed. The class will continue to meet every first & third Thursdays of the month from 4-5:30 p.m.

Warm up at the Library’s Winter Story Time at Minneola City Hall (every Friday through May 17)
The Minneola Schoolhouse Library’s weekly Story Time meets at Minneola City Hal every Friday at 11 am through May 17.  There is a half hour of songs, stories, and dance for kids age 0-6, and then caregivers and kids are encouraged to head down to the library for playtime outside or coloring inside.
