4-Health Camp

June 24th-28th 9 am- 1 pm; Lake County Extension Office

Join us for a week-long camp filled with fun and educational activities focused on nutrition and physical activity. Featured fields trips throughout the week include Adventure Cove, Hickory Point Recreation Park, Hidden Waters Preserve, Sky Zone, and The Discovery Garden. Kids must be 8-12 yrs. old to attend. Let’s Walk Florida

Are you ready to look and feel your best this summer? Join the Let’s Walk FL challenge to keep you active and motivated! This 12-week healthy lifestyle challenge is designed to promote physical wellness where individual and community members team up to start a lifelong walking habit. IFAS/FTGA CEU Roundup

IFAS/FTGA CEU Roundup will be hosted in Lake County. Continuing Education Units (CEUs) for licensed pesticide applicators will be provided.  Landscape Design

Join us July 12th, 19th, 26th, and Aug. 2nd for a four-part, Landscape Design Homeowner Educational Program. Topics include principles of design, functionality, color, and texture, plant selection, and more. Each class is 3 hours in length. Registration is $60.00 and includes soil analysis, a pattern booklet, drawing templates, graphite pencil, and tracing paper. Herbs in the Florida Garden

Most of the common herbs can be grown seasonally in Florida in sufficient quantities for home use. Many herbs may be grown in the Florida home garden throughout the year. Learn about a variety of herbs that may be grown in Central Florida and how to plant, care for, and harvest herbs. Learn about additional resources available at UF/IFAS Extension.
