The South Lake Chamber of Commerce (SLCC) is hosting the premiere political event of the season, the 2020 Hob Nob, presented by Disney, via EventHub Monday, Aug. 3, 2020, from 5:00 -7:30 p.m.

The 2020 Hob Nob will feature candidates running in the upcoming elections for Lake County, ranging from the state and federal level to local races. Attendees have the opportunity to meet political candidates individually within their virtual booth spaces, participate in a straw poll and hear from all candidates via a livestream Zoom call. This event is free and open to the public.

According to David Colby, SLCC President & CEO, “The 2020 Hob Nob is a unique opportunity for the citizens of the South Lake community to virtually meet with the candidates of the 2020 election.” Colby added, “It is our responsibility as a Chamber to serve the community. We want the South Lake community to be informed on the issues that will appear on the upcoming ballot and allow them the chance to discuss those issues with the candidates.”
