Siddy immigrated from Pakistan in 1994 at the age of 18 and immediately started working at a gas station. A former Accountant in the Oman Military, he opened his first store, a convenience mart, in Ohio in 2000 and his second store in Palm Beach in 2003. Food Plus in the Town Center is his third store, and the largest of his convenience stores. At 6,295 square feet, Food Plus has everything one needs from grocery items and produce, to beverages, automotive supplies, cleaning supplies, party supplies, lottery, and much more. “We are the experts in what a neighborhood convenience store provides,” says Siddy. “We are also offering home delivery and curbside pickup so customers can feel safe. This is something that we can do better and safer than a big-box retailer, which is important during COVID-19.”
