On July 31 the City of Groveland hosted its Back-2-School Backpack Bash at Hope International Church. Eight hundred backpacks were filled with supplies and given to Kindergarten through eighth-grade students, along with 1,000 free meals to participants.
It was a very successful, “funfilling” event in Charming Groveland.
Local vendors and organizations were there to show their support. One of the key supporters was the Kiwanis Club of Clermont, an organization that has served the community and children of South Lake for 95 years!
